What is Lymphoma ?
Lymphoma is a cancerous condition of the Lymphatic System, it is split into two different categories.
What is the Lymphatic System ?
The tissues and organs that produce, store, and carry white blood cells that
fight infection and other diseases. This system includes the bone marrow,
spleen, thymus, and lymph nodes and a network of vessels that carry lymph and
white blood cells into all the tissues of the body.
The two categories are Hodgkin Lymphoma & Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Each of the two separate diseases are then divided into various sub-categories. Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma is graded as either 'high grade' or 'low grade' depending on how rapidly the disease develops. A number of booklets are
available for download which describe in more detail the differences between the
two types of Lymphoma and their separate sub-classifications. Further detailed booklets deal with treatments and the side effects. Click on the relevant button alongside the booklet below to view.
Further Information is available from the Lymphoma Associations web site LIFE, available by clicking here.
A booklet detailing high grade non-Hodgkin Lymphoma is currently being produced and will be available at a later stage.
